Most suppliers of iboga in Europe are dealers. They buy, pack and resell. We take a different path: we buy our root bark directly in Africa, and since 2014 we have had our own iboga fields in Ghana. So we know where every pack comes from.
What you get here is therefore not anonymous powder from a sack, but goods from a named batch with a measured value.

Iboga is a natural product, and natural products vary. A single iboga shrub yields at most one kilogram of root bark over its entire life, and the alkaloid content differs with every plant. Anyone who packs a delivery untested sells two packs with clearly different content in the same week without noticing.
That is why we do the same before every packing:
Only then is it packed. That is why a 10-gram pack from a batch carries the same value as the 50-gram pack from the same delivery. With a grown root that is not a given, it is exactly this effort.
In 2014 we bought our first own iboga plants, back then from another grower in Ghana. Today we cultivate our own fields in Ghana. Iboga is a patient plant: we can harvest the root bark from our fields in about five years.
Until then, we buy our root bark directly in Africa. Our 3.4 percent bark comes from Cameroon, the 5 percent bark from Central Africa. We say this so clearly because both are true at the same time and because you should know which pack comes from where.

To put the numbers in perspective: Total Alkaloid has 65 percent total alkaloids, our Gabon root bark 10.8 percent. TA is therefore around six times higher; five grams of TA correspond to the total alkaloid content of about 30 grams of Gabon bark.
The essential difference between TA and HCl is not strength but composition: TA contains the whole spectrum of the plant, HCl a single substance.
